Minister of Defence Mr. Sven Mikser awarded US Defense Attaché to Estonia Lt. Col. Geoffrey W. Wright with the Second Class of the Cross of Merit of the Estonian Ministry of Defence. The award was presented for the achievements in developing bilateral defence relations between the two nations.
This summer, the allies will be carrying out large-scale training exercises on the Baltic Sea. The United States will be leading the annual international Baltic region training exercise BALTOPS, while the United Kingdom will be leading the deployment exercise Baltic Protector.
