Tomorrow, the Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence, Mr. Lauri Almann, will visit Georgia, where he will meet with the Georgian Defence Minister, Mr. Irakli Okruashvili, and the Georgian First Deputy Minister of Defence, Mr. Mamuka Kudava.
Bilateral defence relations, the current situation in the Caucasus region, and Georgian ambitions and progress with regard to NATO accession will be the main topics during the discussions.
In the course of the visit, the parties will sign the Agreement between the Republic of Estonia and Georgia on the Exchange and Protection of Classified Information. Also, the Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence will officially open the class for platoon training simulator´, which was donated to Georgia by Estonia.
