Today, on November 25, the Secretary General of the Estonian Ministry of Defence Indrek Kannik left for a three day visit to Germany in order to meet the Secretary General of German Ministry of Defence dr. Peter Eickenboom. The Secretaries will discuss the results of the Prague Summit Meeting, Estonian and German bilateral co-operation and the international security situation.
Kannik will also meet with the Political director of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs dr. Michael Schaefer. On Tuesday evening the Secretary General Kannik will deliver a speech at the reception in the Estonian Embassy on the occasion of the 84th Anniversary of the Estonian Defence Forces. He will participate in the honouring of colonel Thomas Rosche with the medal of the Ministry of Defence.
