London Court of International Arbitration confirmed yesterday (July 8) the decision according to which the Israel Industries Ltd (IMI) is bound to repay the Republic of Estonia 1,75 million USD for not implementing the provisions of the armament procurement concluded between Estonia and IMI in 1993.
“I am happy that the case has been closed and that Estonia was able to stand for its rights,” the Minister of Defence Margus Hanson said.
