As of today the Ministry of Defence makes publicly available the decree of the Minister which constitutes the application and implementation order of financial allocations and support. The relevant information can be reached on the website of the Ministry.
The decree constitutes the financial support applying and allocation order from the national budget within the Ministry’s area of government for non-profit organizations and foundations. The decree also acknowledges the financial support and allocation order for the procurement of means of instruction and for the conducting of special training camps with the aim of promoting the optional subject “Fundamentals of National Defence ” taught at Estonian educational establishments.
The decree is an important step forward on promoting national defence education and national dignity, but also making the implementation of financial resources public and transparent.
