Concerning the NATO operation in Iraq Jõerüüt said: \"It is needless to emphasize in this audience that we should do our utmost in training and equipping Iraqi security forces. On behalf of Estonia we have a fully equipped computer class earmarked for Police Academy in Baghdad and 1,1 million rounds of ammunition ready and waiting for air transport. Before elections in January Estonia donated another 1,3 million rounds of ammunition and 2400 automatic weapons to Iraq\".
NATO led operations were one of the key issues at today’s NAC meeting.
In addition to NAC the NATO-Ukraine Commission, NATO-Russia Council and EAPC meetings will take place this afternoon.
