PRESS RELEASE no 53 Defence Minister Margus Hanson to participate in BALTDEFCOL graduation ceremony

The Minister of Defence Margus Hanson, Head of Hungarian Defence Ministry Cabinet dr Janos Gömbös, Secretary General of the Latvian Defence Ministry Edgars Rinkevics, Chief of Defence of Latvian Defence Forces Rear Admiral Gaidis Andrejs Zeibots, Deputy SThe Minister of Defence Margus Hanson, Head of Hungarian Defence Ministry Cabinet dr Janos Gömbös, Secretary General of the Latvian Defence Ministry Edgars Rinkevics, Chief of Defence of Latvian Defence Forces Rear Admiral Gaidis Andrejs Zeibots, Deputy Secretary General of the Lithuanian Defence Ministry Jurate Raguckiene, ambassadors of Canada, Great Britain, Denmark, Check Republic and Latvia as well as several Defence Attaches accredited in Estonia will participate in the festive graduation ceremony of the Baltic Defence College’s 4th senior staff officers’ course.

 

The senior staff officers’ course will be graduated by 48 officers including 14 different countries all over Europe.

 

After the graduation ceremony Minister Hanson and Head of Hungarian Defence Ministry Cabinet dr Janos Gömbös will have an official meeting in order to discuss European security and defence policy as well as the future of NATO in connection with the new strategic concept of the Alliance.

Also Estonian-Hungarian defence co-operation that has been growing recently will be under discussion.
